Roblox Kids / Select / Standard

ROH-blox kids / sel-EKT / STAN-derd

Definition

Age-based account types Roblox introduced in 2026. Roughly: Kids (youngest — chat off by default), Select (middle — limited, graduated chat), and Standard (older/adult — full features). Which tier a child lands in is tied to their verified age range (see Age Verification).

Example Usage

My daughter's account is on 'Select', so her chat is limited.

Note for Parents

Worth knowing which tier your child is on, because it silently sets their default chat and content access. If features changed overnight, an account-tier reassignment after an age check is usually why. Treat the tier as a floor, not a replacement for manually setting chat to Friends Only.
