Editorial Policy

Our commitment to accuracy, transparency, and helpfulness

At Roblox Radar, we take our responsibility seriously. Parents rely on us for accurate, up-to-date information about Roblox games, safety, and terminology. This page outlines our editorial standards and the process we follow to create trustworthy content.

Our Editorial Standards

Accuracy First

Every fact is verified against official Roblox documentation, trusted sources, or direct testing. We correct errors promptly and transparently.

Unbiased Information

We present balanced information without fear-mongering or promotional content. Our recommendations are based on what's best for families.

Clear Writing

We write in plain English, avoiding jargon and technical terms. Content is organized with clear headings and bullet points for easy scanning.

Regular Updates

All content is reviewed quarterly and updated as Roblox changes. Articles display "Last Updated" dates for transparency.

Content Creation Process

1

Research

Writers research topics using official Roblox documentation, parent forums, safety organization guidelines, and hands-on testing of games and features.

2

Writing

Content is written following our style guide: plain language, actionable advice, clear structure with headings, and real-world examples parents can relate to.

3

Review

Articles are reviewed by at least one other parent for clarity and accuracy. Safety-critical content is reviewed by multiple contributors.

4

Fact-Checking

Claims about safety, costs, and features are verified against official sources. We test games and features firsthand when possible.

5

Publication

Content is published with clear authorship, publication date, and last updated information. All articles include related resources for further reading.

6

Ongoing Maintenance

Content is reviewed quarterly and updated as needed. Major Roblox updates trigger immediate reviews of affected articles.

Sources and Citations

We use the following sources for our content:

  • Official Roblox documentation (help.roblox.com, blog.roblox.com)
  • Direct testing of games, features, and settings
  • Safety organizations (Common Sense Media, ConnectSafely, Internet Matters)
  • Parent communities (Reddit r/robloxparents, Facebook parent groups)
  • News reports from reputable technology and parenting publications

When we make claims about safety risks, costs, or features, we cite our sources or note when information is based on community reports and testing.

Corrections and Updates

If we publish incorrect information, we:

  1. Correct the error as soon as it's brought to our attention
  2. Update the "Last Updated" date on the article
  3. Add a correction note at the top of the article for significant errors
  4. Notify our email subscribers if the correction affects safety advice

If we add advertising or affiliate links in the future, we will:

  • • Clearly disclose all affiliate relationships
